We have been exploring the shapes our bodies can make in P.E. - today we tried some collaborative shapes which looked great!

We stopped by the beautiful butterflies that we collaboratively created in a recent Family Assembly! Don't they look great! We are reaching the end of our egg experiment* and it's safe to say that the water sample had the best results - the shell of the egg remained the same throughout the experiment. Therefore water is the best drink for your teeth. *Thank goodness as the samples were starting to get very smelly!! We were super excited to receive a special delivery from our secretary Ann this morning! Our letters from our penpals arrived! We couldn't wait to read them! This morning we learned how to do crab walks - walking forwards and backwards. It was tricky but f un! Morning exercises are going really well. Today we learned how to do bear walks - they are so tricky but lots of fun. We are learning about kilograms and today we sorted classroom items into heavier than 1kg and lighter than 1kg! Neasa went through our brand new SLT Homework Folders with us again today so we are feeling very confident about how to use them! We will be bringing them home every day along with our class homework from Aoife. Neasa will be showing parents our new folders in sessions this week and next week so everyone will know how to be oraganised with them! Just like Oscar and Olivia Organisation!! We are one week away from our Ukulele Showcase! We hope you will be able to make it to see all our hard work in our performance. |
